How to cancel your subscription and our refund policy

How to Cancel

Cancelling your Authorio subscription is straightforward. There are no hoops to jump through, no retention mazes, and no hidden steps.

Open the Billing & Usage section in your dashboard sidebar and select the option to cancel your subscription. Confirm your choice, and you are done. The process takes less than a minute.

We believe that making cancellation easy is a sign of confidence in the product. If Authorio is not the right fit, you should be able to leave without friction.

What Happens After Cancellation

When you cancel, your subscription does not end immediately. You retain full access to Authorio and your remaining word budget until the end of your current billing period.

For example, if your plan renews on the 15th and you cancel on the 3rd, you can continue using the platform through the 15th. After that date:

  • Your account remains active, but AI generation features that use your word budget become unavailable
  • Your existing books, drafts, and exported files are not deleted
  • You can still log in and access your content

No content is lost when you cancel. Your work stays in your account.

Refund Policy

Because you retain access to your plan through the end of the billing period you have already paid for, refunds are generally not issued for the current cycle. You get the full value of the period you paid for, even after cancelling.

Reactivating Your Account

If you decide to come back, reactivating is simple. Log into your Authorio account, go to the Billing & Usage section, and choose a plan. Your existing books and projects will still be there, exactly as you left them.

You can pick up right where you left off — select a plan, and your word budget starts fresh from the reactivation date.
