Managing Your Subscription

Upgrade, downgrade, and manage plan changes

Updated 2026-02-26

Accessing Billing Settings

To manage your subscription, open the Billing & Usage section in your dashboard sidebar. This is where you can view your current plan, see all available tiers, and make changes to your subscription.

The billing screen displays your current plan alongside the other options — Creator ($29/month), Author ($49/month), and Publisher ($99/month) — so you can compare and switch with a clear view of what each tier offers.

Upgrading Your Plan

If you need more words, you can upgrade to a higher tier at any time. From the billing screen, select the plan you want to move to and confirm the change.

When you upgrade mid-cycle, the change takes effect immediately. You gain access to the higher word budget right away, so you can continue creating without waiting for the next billing period.

Downgrading Your Plan

If your current plan provides more capacity than you need, you can switch to a lower tier. Select the smaller plan from the billing screen and confirm.

When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You keep your current plan's word budget for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and the lower rate applies when your subscription renews.

Billing Cycle

Your subscription renews monthly on the same date you originally signed up or last changed plans. On each renewal date:

  • Your payment method is charged for the upcoming period
  • Your word budget resets to the full allocation for your plan
  • Any unused words from the previous period do not carry over

You can see your next renewal date in the Billing & Usage section of your dashboard. If you need to update your payment method or view past invoices, those options are available in the same billing settings area.
